JAC did not specify, though as is industry practice, its electric vehicle (EV) sales figures should include Nio vehicles.
Nio delivered a record 10,878 vehicles in November, up 106 percent from 5,291 a year ago and up 197 percent from 3,667 in October.
This means that JAC's own brand of EVs sold 5,277 units in November.
JAC released data showing that it had cumulative EV sales of 117,349 units from January to November, up 176 percent from 42,548 units in the same period last year.
From January to November, Nio's cumulative deliveries were 80,940 units, up 120 percent year-on-year.
JAC signed a 5-year contract with Nio in 2016. The two signed a contract to establish Jianglai Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Anhui) Co on March 27 this year.
At the end of May, Nio said it had renewed its manufacturing contract with JAC from May 2021 to May 2024 and that JAC would continue to produce the ES8, ES6, EC6, ET7 and possibly other Nio models.
