After raising the prices of the Model S and Model X Long Range versions in China in early August, Tesla has raised the prices of both models again.

According to Tesla's website in China, the Model S Long Range price has been increased by RMB 30,000 ($4,700), from RMB 859,990 to RMB 889,990.

The higher-priced Model S Plaid version remains unchanged at RMB 1,059,999,000.

The Model X Long Range has been increased by RMB 30,000 from RMB 909,990 to RMB 939,990.

The Model X Plaid version remains unchanged at RMB 999,990.

The last price change for these two models was on August 4, when Tesla also raised them both by RMB 30,000.

The latest price increase also follows Tesla's moves in the US.

On Saturday, Tesla raised the price of both the Model S Long Range and Model X Long Range by $5,000 in the US, with the latest prices at $94,990 and $104,990, respectively.

In addition, the Model Y Long Range and Model 3 Standard Range Plus have both increased their US prices by $2,000. Their current prices in China remain unchanged.

It's worth noting that the Model S and Model X are not yet made in China, and their prices are several times higher than the Model 3 and Model Y, which are already made locally.

Tesla's third-quarter earnings report last week showed that the Model 3 and Model Y were the mainstay of its sales in the global market, with 232,102 units delivered in the third quarter.

By comparison, the Model S and Model X delivered just 9,289 units worldwide.
