Xpeng Motors said Thursday that cumulative deliveries of its flagship sedan P7 reached 50,000 units, 15 months after the model went on sale last July.
The CnEVPost database shows cumulative deliveries of the Xpeng P7 at 46,777 through August, implying 3,223 deliveries of the model so far this month.
Xpeng delivered 7,214 vehicles in August, up 172 percent year-on-year, but down 10 percent from July.
Xpeng P7 deliveries continued their strong growth with 6,165 units delivered in August, the fourth consecutive month of record highs. This is also the second consecutive month that the model has delivered more than 6,000 units.
Judging from the above figures, it is unlikely that Xpeng P7 deliveries will exceed 6,000 again in September.
