Leapmotor says it delivered 4,488 vehicles in August, up 720% from a year earlier
Chinese electric car startup Leapmotor said Wednesday it delivered 4,488 vehicles in August, up 720 percent from a year earlier and up 1.9 percent from 4,404 vehicles in July.

The T03, Leapmotor's main selling model, had 4,409 deliveries in August, the company said.
Leapmotor received orders for 7,607 units in August, up 16 percent from June, bringing its cumulative orders for the year to 35,662 units, it said.
The T03 had 7,228 orders in August, up 18 percent from July.
The company currently has a coupe model, the S01, on sale in addition to the T03. Its flagship SUV model, the C11, will be mass-produced and launched in October this year.
The T03 is available in five versions with a price range of RMB 59,800 ($9,250) - RMB 76,800. The S01 includes two versions starting at RMB 129,900 and RMB 149,900 respectively.
The C11 is available for pre-sale in early 2021, with three options priced at RMB 159,800, RMB 179,800 and RMB 199,800.
The C11 measures 4,750×1,905×1,650mm and has a wheelbase of 2,930mm. it has a maximum NEDC range of over 600 km and the dual-motor 4WD version has a claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time of less than 5 seconds.

In July, Leapmotor co-founder Wu Baojun said the company would launch eight models by the end of 2025, covering a price range of less than 350,000 yuan, and plans to enter overseas markets in 2022.
The overall sales target for Leap Moto in 2025 is 800,000 units, said Zhu.
