Ora's Good Cat GT named 'Mulan', with pre-orders to open soon
Great Wall Motor's electric car brand Ora's previously launched Good Cat GT model has been officially named "Mulan" and pre-sales will open soon, the brand announced Friday.
Mulan is a great representative of Chinese women, symbolizing independence, confidence and courage, in line with the Ora Good Cat GT, Ora said.
Ora officially unveiled the Ora Good Cat GT model at the 2021 China Joy show on July 30.
The car is Ora's first pure-electric production performance model, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm.
The car was designed by a former Porsche designer and features a large number of curved lines and round headlights.
The Ora Good Cat GT is equipped with Ora-Pilot 3.0 intelligent autonomous driving assistance system with more than 10 autonomous driving assistance functions for L2 + autonomous driving, according to the company.
Good Cat GT is paired with 2 high-precision millimeter-wave radars, 12 high-precision ultrasonic radars, 6 intelligent driving high perception cameras, and supports GPS and BeiDou high-precision positioning system.
The car's electric motor has a maximum power of 126kW and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery with an NEDC range of 501km.
The car's pre-sale price could be between RMB 140,000 ($21,535) - 150,000 yuan, according to media reports.
