Chery intensively launch SUV and other new models in 2018
Shanghai (ZXZC)-Up to now, Chery has three series of products, respectively are ARRIZO, TIGGO and EXEED, in which EXEED was released in the Frankfurt auto show. Recently, the general manager of Chery Group Chen Anning said that by the end of next year, Chery would launch 4 new models, including 3 SUV models and 1 sedan. EXEED TX would be firstly showed in the Guangzhou auto show this year and be officially listed in the fourth quarter of next year. In addition, TIGGO series will also launch a new 7-seat SUV model - TIGGO 9 (expected name).
Chen Anning revealed that next Chery TIGGO series would also launch a 7-seat medium-sized SUV, which is expected to be TIGGO 9. The new car is expected to continue the design style of TIGGO series and to be equipped with Chery third generation engine. The engine is divided into basic version and high performance version. The maximum power of basic version is 140kW, peak torque is 275Nm. In regard to transmission system, the car is probably to be equipped with 7 speed DCT gearbox.
EXEED TX
The grille of EXEED TX looks like dragon scale and there are LED lights in front of the belt and a in-line headlight, echoing with the LED lights across the band. The waist lines in both sides are respectively connected with the front and rear headlight groups. The use of fastback design makes the body lines clear, improving the overall sense of movement, and the car is equipped with high brake lights. The length, width and height respectively are 4664 mm, 1872 mm and 1685mm, and the wheelbase is 2697mm.
In terms of interior parts, EXEED TX uses double color design. The overall visual effect inside is clean and concise, lines are smooth. There are a large area of leather and chrome frame, and the car is equipped with a 10 inch LCD display, 7 inch LCD instrument and shift knob. In addition, the new car will be equipped with car networking system which is developed in collaboration with Baidu, the system will use many "black technology" and realize "emotional" human-computer interaction.
