Tesla raises prices for Model S and Model X Long Range in China and US

After it raised the prices of the Model S Long Range and Model X Long Range in China and the United States last month, Tesla has raised their prices again.

Information on Tesla's China website shows that the Model S Long Range version has been increased by RMB 30,000 ($4,637), from 829,990 RMB to 859,990 RMB.

The higher-priced Model S Plaid version remains unchanged at RMB 1,059,999.

The Model X Long Range has also been increased by RMB 30,000 from RMB 879,990 to RMB 909,990.

The latest information on Tesla's US website shows that the starting price of the Model S Long Range version has been increased by $5,000 from $84,990 to $89,990.

The starting price of the Model X Long Range has also been increased by $5,000 from $94,990 to $99,990.

On July 16, the price of the Model S Long Range was adjusted from an earlier price of RMB 79,990 to RMB 829,990, an increase of RMB 30,000. The Model X Long Range was increased from RMB 849,990 to RMB 879,990.

The Model S Long Range version was officially launched on Tesla China's website on January 28th of this year, when the price was announced at RMB 799,990, and to date the vehicle has not yet been officially delivered, but this is the second price increase.
