Shanghai (ZXZC)-On Sep.6th, new COO of LeSEE China, Jingshen Gao, had a private session with many other key management members. At the meeting, Gao announced LeSEE’s plan to apply for new energy vehicle manufacturer license.

Gao pointed out that the company would focus on five core activities, application for manufacturer license, construction of LeSEE facility in Mogan Mountain of Zhejiang Province, synchronous research system development with American counterpart to improve R&D ability, establishment of cooperative mechanism between operations in China and America, assistance to implement the domestic sales strategy of FF91 and preparation for the vehicle’s market launch.

According to Gao, even though LeEco was affected by financial problems and LeSEE was suffering setbacks, key factors for LeSEE hasn’t ever changed and the industry trend, strategy and product competitiveness remain advantages to LeSEE.

As to domestic business, Gao said LeSEE’s future products would be more reliable with much more precise positioning. With the strong support from the government, the facility in Mogan Mountain will continue in the anticipated direction.

People close to the matter said that LeSEE’s financing raising has been smooth and the company is likely to settle the deal in the near future. Chairman of LeSEE Auto, Jia Yueting , has been meeting investors recently, including America consortium, global enterprises and domestic institutions. Secretary general of the China Passenger Car Association, Cui Dongshu said, the application for manufactures license will take a long time and that may keep the company from following the development pace of new energy vehicles.
