Leapmotor delivered 3,941 units in June, up 893% year-on-year
Chinese electric vehicle startup Leapmotor delivered 3,941 units in June, up 893 percent year-on-year and up 23 percent from May.
The company's T03 delivered 3,745 units in June, accounting for 95 percent of total deliveries.
Leapmotor had 4,107 orders in June and total orders for the first half of the year exceeded 20,000 units at 21,515 units, the company said.
The T03 is Leapmotor's main selling model, and a new variant went on sale on June 18 with a subsidized price starting at RMB 69,800 ($10,800).
The variant adds pink and orange color options and features 8-inch LCD instruments and a 10.1-inch center display.
The model uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with an NEDC range of 403 kilometers and takes 3.5 hours to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent.
Earlier today, Nio released data showing that it delivered a record 8,083 vehicles in June, up 116.1 percent year-on-year.
This is the first time the company has delivered more than 8,000 in a single month, up 20.4 percent compared to May.
Xpeng Motors delivered a record 6,565 units in June, up 15 percent sequentially from 5,686 units in May and up 617 percent year-on-year.
Xpeng P7 once again broke the monthly delivery record for a single model with 4,730 units, a 25% increase from May. Cumulative deliveries of this model exceeded 30,000 units.
