Domestic media revealed on July 31st that rumor came out that Xu Ping, Board Director and Party Committee Secretary of FAW Group, would exchange positions with Xu Liuping, General Manager, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Director of China South Industries Group Corporation. No affirmation has been received yet.

Staff from Changan Auto Board of Directors has not made clear denies on the rumor, only said that, “I cannot give you final confirmation. But we can wait for the announcements, and superior leaders will determine when to release the news.”

It is remarkable that the news came out in 2016 that Xu Liuping, Board Chairman of Changan Auto would be appointed as General Manager of FAW Group, but met denies from Changan Auto immediately.

It’s known that Dongfeng Group and FAW Group changed their chairmen in 2015, bringing in frequent communications and cooperation between the two groups. The two groups changed their heads again in April this year.
