Shanghai, July 20, ZXZC - Geely conducts many adjustments in management team, especially in overseas business. Rumor comes out that Dongfeng Honda Engine Company’s current Director and Executive Vice General Manager Li Chunrong will join in Geely Group to be the Chairman of Proton. Yang Xueliang, Vice President of Geely Group said that, “Geely is recruiting and choosing Proton’s chairman across the globe, and Li Chunrong has intention to join in. But the position is vacant currently.”

Li Chunrong joined in Dongfeng Auto in 1987, and conducted the 10-year development for Dongfeng Passenger vehicles. He was appointed as Director and Executive Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Honda Engine Company at the end of last month.

Geely purchased 49.9% shares of Proton Holding and 51% shares of Lotus Group on June 23th, becoming Proton’s exclusive foreign strategic partner.
