The information on Tesla's website shows that it currently only supports Bitcoin payments for customers in the United States, and will consider opening up new markets in the future.

Tesla's filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) early last month shows that the company has purchased $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin.

Many analysts expect that Tesla's big buy of bitcoin could lead to a wave of investment from the corporate sector, starting a new round of bitcoin rallies.
