BYD reportedly to launch Yuan Pro, SUV with blade battery
The BYD Yuan Pro with blade battery will be launched on March 21, which is the successor of the Yuan EV, according to Mydrivers.com.
The Yuan Pro's front offers two looks, one like the SUV version of the Han EV with a closed front grille and a silver trim strip with the Chinese character "Yuan" printed on the chrome.
The other design is closer to BYD Tang, with a matrix front grille design. Both styles are Yuan Pro's approach to high-end product design.
The length, width, and height of Yuan Pro are 4375/1785/1680mm, which is 15mm longer than the current model, and the wheelbase is 2535mm.
The design of the interior remains unchanged, with adjustments made mainly to the configuration, including a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating suspension center screen, cell phone NFC car key, intelligent cloud services, and VTOL reverse charging.
Yuan Pro features a lithium iron phosphate blade battery with a battery energy density of 140Wh/kg, a motor with a maximum power of 136 hp and peak torque of 210 Nm, and an NEDC range of 401km.
