It’s learned that Dongfeng Renault’s car project obtains official reply from Hubei Provincial NDRC recently. Dongfeng Renault would start the production line reconstruction and extension project when maintaining the 150,000 units’ annual capacity. It would introduce car products in 2019 in the fastest way, meaning that Dongfeng Renault will effectively expand its production line in the future, achieving the simultaneous developments for “cars and SUV” in the future.

The latest data shows that Dongfeng Renault has a total sales volume of 37,460 units from January to June this year, accomplishing 63% of the annual target. Its first domestic model Kadjar sold a total volume of 13,603 units the new Koleos sold 23,857 units in the first half of year.

Besides, Dongfeng Renault increases 25 dealership stores in the first half of year, and the total number is expected to exceed 200 at the end of year.

Dongfeng Renault will also take efforts in products and sales channels in the latter half of year. It will introduce the Renault’s global high-end model ESPACE in 7-seat SUV market. Besides, it will further conduct innovation activities to lift brand experience and release product potential.
