On 23rd June afternoon, Foxconn Technology Group and Kunshan government signed an agreement of comprehensively deepening strategic cooperation. According to the agreement, Foxconn will invest 25 billion yuan to construct seven projects in Kunshan.

Foxconn is accelerating its pace to emerging areas like intelligent manufacturing, AI, new energy, intelligent IOT and so on. Among these projects, Intelligent IOT Technology New City Project accounts for the largest amount of investment, reaching 18 billion yuan. As for new energy vehicle, Foxconn has taken many actions in recent years. In addition to the cooperation with Harmony Group and Tencentm, Foxconn has also starts its layout in the fields of battery and charging devices. And among these projects, new energy still plays the leading role.

Lu Songqing, vice president of Foxconn, says that the agreement is aimed at developing future-oriented industries and helping Kunshan develop as well as transform.

Below are the information of the seven projects:

● Intelligent IOT Technology New City Project.

It is aimed to speed up the construction of new landmarks of the city with the functions of corporation headquarters, R & D center, business center, talent apartments, intelligent medical services and other functions.

●Fusheng Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd(Kunshan) Project.

It focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of optical fiber connection, charging devices of new energy vehicles and multifunctonal adapters.

●Tengyi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd(Kunshan) Project

It mainly focuses on the R&D as well as the manufacturing of lithium batteries.

●Fuding Environmental Technology Co., Ltd Project

It focuses on waste disposal and the R&D as well as cure technology of environmental pollution.

●Suzhou Huahan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd Project

It focuses on R&D and manufacturing of industrial computers, system integration, new electronic components,and intelligent household products

●Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Project

It focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of new alloy materials, materials for semiconductor components, new electronic components and the assembly and production of solar cells.

●KS-FIT R&D Center

It provides services for High-tech enterprises home and abroad, cultivates innovative industries, helps young entrepreneurs and plans to establish bilingual youth college of innovation and creation.
