Citroën Ami, a small electric car with a range of 70km, appears in China

The Citroën Ami electric car, which was launched in Europe this month, has recently appeared on the streets of Wuhan, according to Weibo blogger @王晓鹏 PPGarage.

The car is designed for short-distance urban commuting or rental car use and is equipped with a 6kW motor and 5.5kWh battery pack, with a top speed of 45km/h and a maximum range of 70km.

The Citroën Ami is only 2.4 meters long and weighs 485 kg. Users don't need a driver's license to drive it in Europe, and they can drive it on the road at the age of 14 in France and 15 in Germany.

The Citroën Ami has a large area of light-transmitting glass and also has a panoramic glass sunroof.

The car is rated for two passengers and handles in a similar manner to a regular sedan. It does not have a separate trunk, but there is storage space behind the seats in the car.

The car is fully charged in about 3 hours using 220V voltage and is compatible with EV charging stations.

The car is currently priced at just 6,000 pounds in Europe.
