Model 3 is the most recommended NEV in China in its price range, survey shows
The Tesla Model 3 received the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS), with more recommenders than detractors, according to the "New Energy Vehicle Consumption Survey Results" recently released by the Shenzhen Consumer Council.
The survey selected four new energy vehicles in the same price range with high consumer interest, including the Model 3, BYD Han, Xpeng P7, and WM Motor EX5.
Model 3 owners were most satisfied with the model's "central intelligent configuration", "car charging speed", and "car safety configuration design". Model 3 owners were most satisfied with the model's "central smart features," "car charging speed," and "car safety features.
The Model 3's minimalist design, Autopilot, OTA, intelligent car computer, remote diagnosis, and other new features are all new concepts and technologies that are difficult to experience in fuel cars. The convenient experience and cool image brought by technology have become important factors for owners to choose and recommend, the survey said.
In addition, owners recommend Model 3 for the convenience of charging. China's urban environment dictates that many city residents do not have access to home charging stations, and Tesla's self-built network of charging stations offers a great advantage.
Tesla is one of the first car companies to build its own charging piles in China. It is expected that by the end of 2020, Tesla will have built nearly 650 Supercharging Stations, about 5,000 Supercharging Piles, and over 2,000 destination charging piles in China, covering over 270 major cities and inter-city connections across the country.
Starting in the second half of 2020, Tesla will accelerate the construction of V3 Superchargers, which can travel about 250 kilometers on a 15-minute charge, basically satisfying owners' one-week commuting needs.
