Nine models were found to have problems with battery capacity, discharge capacity after cyclic discharge, discharge protection value, and luggage compartment volume, which did not meet national standards.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has interviewed 25 new energy vehicle companies, including Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), BYD, Geely, and BAIC, which have violated the rules and regulations in their production, and ordered them to rectify the problems.

The MIIT issued an announcement on December 8, stating that it had asked the companies to fulfill their responsibilities and rectify the problems by the deadline.

On November 19, the MIIT released the results of China's new energy vehicle supervision and inspection, and found that some new energy products have production consistency problems. 25 enterprises, including BAIC, GAC Honda, Geely and Dongfeng, were named and notified by the MIIT.

As for new energy passenger cars, nine models from nine companies were found to have problems with battery capacity, discharge capacity after cyclic discharge, discharge protection value, and luggage compartment volume, which did not meet national standards.

BYD's Qin plug-in hybrid sedan has a non-compliant spare tire marking.

The JNJ7000EVX25 electric sedan (E100) produced by Hunan Jiangnan Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has two kinds of problems, including the initial capacity of the battery does not meet the relevant requirements, and the discharge capacity after 100 cycles does not meet the relevant requirements.

In the DFL7000NAH1BEV model of Dongfeng Motor, the overdischarge protection value is lower than the enterprise's technical parameter value; the overcharge protection value is higher than the enterprise's technical parameter value.

GAC Mitsubishi's vehicle energy management system production enterprise name, and the record parameters are inconsistent. The plug-in SUVs by GAC Honda have the same problem as GAC Mitsubishi. At the same time, it also has the problem of inconsistency between the plug model of electric vehicles and the parameters on record.
