Shanghai, June 21, ZXZC - Zotye Auto currently owns six production bases including Hangzhou, Jinhua, Yongkang, Jintan, Linyi and Changsha. Chongqing Base started construction on November 11th, 2015. It’s known that Zotye Chongqing branch will produce two SUV models including M12 (Zotye T300), M12 (Zotye T300E) and two MPV models including B40 and B40 PHEV. Kong Fanrong, General Manager of Chongqing Zotye said that, “Alternative energy vehicles will account for 40% of total sales volume, which is also the main direction.” 

The project occupies a total size of 59,521.34 square meters with a total investment of RMB 79.14m. Zotye M12 has a body size of 4,300*1,820*1,640mm with a wheelbase of 2,600mm. The new model will equip with 1.6L and 1.3T engines. The 1.6L engine has a maximum power of 85KW and peak torque of 151 NM. The transmission system equips with 5-speed MT and CVT. Electric version model M12E has a body size of 4,405*1,830*1,640mm with the wheelbase of 2,610mm.

B40 is a 7-seat MPV model with a body size of 5,000*1,920*1,890mm and wheelbase of 3,000mm. The new model will equip with 2.0T engine, with the maximum power of 140KW and peak torque of 250NM. The transmission system is expected to equip with 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
