Awayspeed Technology, a subsidiary of memory module maker Adata Technology, recently announced its entry into the logistics market with the launch of its first commercial electric tricycle designed specifically for logistics operators.

The tricycle can reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour and has a range of 100 kilometers on a full charge. It has a maximum payload of 200 kg and a volume of over 800 liters.

It supports one-touch reversing and can maneuver between 2.5-meter-wide aisles to improve load flexibility and shorten delivery time.

The core electric motor and controller system of the electric tricycle is developed and manufactured by Adata.

It is equipped with Adata's self-developed AI intelligent system, which supports the safe monitoring of the vehicle's status, effective control of the vehicle's location, route planning, and management and delivery of goods.

Adata is the world's second-largest memory module manufacturer and a private label SSD module manufacturer. Its main product lines include memory modules, USB flash drives/storage cards, solid-state drives and portable hard drives, gaming peripherals, and industrial solutions.

Adata Chairman Simon Chen said, "Adata has been investing in the research and development of electric vehicle motors since five years ago, and is optimistic that "zero-emission, low-noise, and safe" electric vehicles are bound to become a global trend in the future.
