Chinese electric car startup ENOVATE launches its first car with 5 screens

Chinese electric car startup company ENOVATE launched its first product, the smart electric SUV ME7, in Shanghai on September 19.

The new vehicle is available in three variants, including Touch Edition, Sense Edition, and Pilot Edition, with 530 km and 410 km NEDC range options.

It is priced at a minimum of RMB 218,800 yuan ($32,000) and a maximum of RMB 289,800 yuan after subsidies.

The ENOVATE ME7 measures 4,685*1,970*1,660mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,830 mm.

It is equipped with Bosch's latest generation of flat copper-wire permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 160 kW, maximum torque of 330N-m, and a maximum NEDC range of 530km.

ENOVATE is equipped with five high-definition screens in the cabin, including the instrument cluster, center screen, passenger screen, and dual rear screens.

ENOVATE also introduces the "Xiaotian" AI assistant, which provides basic vehicle control, travel planning, important event reminders, games and more through voice and semantic recognition.

ENOVATE ME7 is powered by a dual-host architecture and Qualcomm Snapdragon S820A Prem high-performance computing platform with 320G FLOPS and 55K DMIPS processing power.

The ME7 utilizes CAN bus, Ethernet, and GMSL (Gigabit multimedia serial link) for efficient connectivity and fast response between different task units.

The ENOVATE ME7 is also equipped with the ME Pilot intelligent driving system with 22 sensors, including 1 front monocular camera, 4 surround-view cameras, 3 millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, 1 in-cabin camera, and 1 trip recorder.

It adopts the fusion of vision sensors and radar sensors to achieve 16 core functions such as ACC adaptive cruise control, LKA lane keeping, APA/RPA automatic parking.
