According to the latest new energy vehicle catalog released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), 332 models, including two models produced by Tesla (Shanghai), have been included in the catalog.

The two models listed are TSL7000BEVBA0 and TSL7000BEVBA1, both of which are equipped with lithium-ion batteries with an energy density of 161Wh/kg.

In last month's release of the new energy vehicle promotion recommended vehicle catalog, Tesla Model 3 standard range version was listed, but its energy storage device type is lithium iron phosphate battery.

In terms of energy density, low-temperature performance, and multiplier performance, ternary lithium-ion battery overall performance is better than lithium iron phosphate.

But in terms of stability as well as cost, lithium iron phosphate batteries have the advantage.

After China's new subsidy policy for new energy vehicles put forward higher requirements for energy and range, in the field of small passenger cars, ternary lithium batteries have fully replaced lithium iron phosphate.
