Shanghai May 31st, 2017 ZXZC-It’s learned from official news that Changan will start official price cut for the first time in 2017. Any customer buying CS15, CS24, CS75, New Eado, New Eado XT, Alsvin V3, Alsvin V7, New Benni and Raeton will enjoy price benefits from RMB 4,000 to 18,000.

All the star models, expect for CS95 and Ling Xuan, will join in the price cuts. Changan Raeton will face the highest price benefit of RMB 18,000.

According to the latest sales report, Changan Auto has a monthly production volume of 214,262 units in April, decreasing 15.25% year-to-year. The sales volume reaches 161,862 units, decreasing 27.61% year-to-year. The total production and sales volume from January to April reach 949,200 and 1,000,590 units respectively, decreasing 8.34% and 5.79% year-to-year. Self-independent brands face the largest decline. It’s showed that the total sales volume of nine self-independent models including Eado, Alsvin series, CS series, CX70, Honor and Auchan reaches only 39,853 units in April, compared with the 115,823 units in March.

Besides, Changan Auto has dropped out of the top 10 passenger vehicle companies in terms of sales volume. Cui Dongshu, General Secretary of CPCA, said that, “The whole industry is facing great pressure of adjusting inventories in April. Changan Auto is adjusting inventory in advance to decrease dealerships’ pressure to cope with the slack season.”
