China-made Tesla Model 3 interior upgraded with wireless charging pad
The Tesla Model Y comes with a wireless charging pad, and now it looks like that feature is coming to the Model 3 as well.
There are reports in Chinese media that on the Tesla China-made Model 3 standard range-topping rear-drive upgrade, the car was found to have a wireless charging pad and three USB Type-A ports replaced with Type-C ports.
Tesla is currently tweaking the production process and in the future these two configurations will become standard on the Model 3.
The picture shows that the front USB Type-A port has been replaced with a Type-C port, while the phone wireless charging pad has the ability to charge the phone wirelessly through a Type-C cable, and the two Type-A ports in the lower rear air vents have also been replaced with Type-C ports.
As reported earlier today, Tesla announced that the first batch of Chinese-made long-range, rear-drive Model 3 has come off the assembly line ahead of schedule and will be delivered to consumers in the near future, with the price of the model remaining unchanged at $340,050 after the July 22 subsidized transition period.
