WM Motor unveils concept EV Maven with L4 autopilot
At the online launch of the "IMAGINE DAY" on Sunday, the Maven, the first production concept version of WM-Motor's pure electric sedan, was unveiled.
The concept car has a combined NEDC range of 800km, L4-level autopilot capability and 5G connectivity.
The WM-Motor Maven is the first production concept version of WM-Motor's purely electric sedan based on Human Technology, and the Maven is expected to go into production in 2021.
The WM-Motor Maven features an interactive exterior design underneath the new family style windmill language.
On the side, the high waistline and low nose design strengthen the lowering of the visual center, and the "Bernoulli" streamlined roof soothes the lowering, guiding the air to flow smoothly over the surface of the body, together with the dynamic rear wing, effectively reducing the negative pressure at the rear, which is perfectly in line with the naturally occurring streamline and curved surface under the high-speed airflow, achieving the lowest wind resistance factor in the class of 0.23.
The WM-Motor Maven features an innovative adaptive cockpit design with screen movement and steering wheel shrinkage to meet the needs of different travel scenarios.
The WM-Motor Maven's interior lines are clean and light, simplifying the number of screens, using transparent screens to reduce the sense of screen presence, significantly reducing physical buttons, vehicle interaction through voice commands, gesture control, biometrics and other multidimensional ways.
The WM-Motor Maven is equipped with WM-Motor's third-generation Living Motion tri-electric energy system, which, together with the new high-performance, low-power motor, excellent wind resistance coefficient and lightweight body technology, can control the power consumption within 14kWh/100km, which further improves the range, and the combined NEDC range reaches 800km.
For autopilot, the WM-Motor Maven is equipped with WM-Motor's self-developed Living Pilot Intelligent Mobility Assist System, which enables L3-level autopilot in the full speed range and L4-level autopilot for specific scenarios, such as automatic parking.
The WM-Motor Maven is equipped with the Living Engine, a whole-vehicle interactive system with mood sensing and active services based on big data sensing, which can sense the driver's status through the camera and microphone, providing the driver with calming, refreshing and relieving functions. That is, based on driving scenarios and user big data, proactively predict the driver's real-time needs, and proactively provide services through scenario-based intelligence.
WM-Motor Maven adopts WM-Motor's self-developed Living Architecture intelligent electronic and electrical architecture, which is based on the user's usage scenario. It also supports strong software iteration capability, allowing for a 5-minute full-vehicle software update.
