Xpeng P7 has a range of 552km-706km, latest info shows
Chinese electric car startup Xpeng Motors recently announced the latest information on the P7. In addition to the rear-drive super-long battery life of up to 706km, this time its unveiled other models with different NEDC mileages.
The car has three versions of rear-wheel drive, long-wheel drive, and high-performance four-wheel drive. The cruising range is 552km-706km.
Among them, the Xpeng P7 rear-drive ultra-long-range low-end model with aerodynamic kit (wheel cover) can reach a range of 706km.
At present, many electric vehicle manufacturers choose to use low-resistance wheel covers to increase the vehicle's cruising range. These manufacturers, including Tesla and BMW, have launched corresponding packages.
Xpeng P7 has started pre-sale and is expected to be available in April 2020.
The pre-sale price of the rear-wheel drive long-endurance version, rear-wheel drive super long-endurance version and four-wheel drive high-performance version are respectively 240,000 yuan, 270,000 yuan and 370,000 yuan.
The new car uses an official design language called the "Interstellar" series. The front face of the new car is designed with split headlights, the top is a penetrating light strip, the bottom is a conventional headlight, and the Xpeng P7 still uses a centerless design.
Xpeng claims that the new car has a length of 4900mm and a wheelbase of 3000mm.
The Xpeng P7 is also equipped with a DRIVE Xavier autonomous driving chip from Nvidia. The official said that its hardware level has L3 level autonomous driving capabilities.
The Xpeng P7 rear-drive super-long-endurance version is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 196kW and a peak torque of 390N·m.
Its four-wheel-drive high-performance model will be equipped with a drive motor on the front and rear axle respectively. The system's comprehensive maximum power is 316kW, the peak torque is 660N·m, and the acceleration time from 0-100km/h is only 4.3 seconds.
