HAIMA Auto Released its New Powertrain Strategy

SHANGHAI May 3rd, 2017 ZXZC – Currently, Haima Auto released its new power train strategy on 2017 Shanghai Auto Show. To achieve the strategic target of “upgrading development ideas, lifting driving pleasure and guaranteeing low carbon”, it will increase investments in four aspects including R&D, technologies, supply chain and operation. Measures include building a R&D team containing more than 1,000 members, the establishment of Haima Auto’s European technological center and integration of globally quality supplier resources and constant investments.

“Haima Auto will develop specified hybrid power engines with thermal efficiency larger than 40% to make sure that average fuel consumption per 100 kilometers reaches 5L before the year 2020 and 4L before 2025 respectively.”

Haima Auto 1.2T GDI engine is co-developed by Haima and FEV, using advanced technologies including GDI, DVVT, cylinder-head assembly exhaust manifold and miller cycles. The maximum horse power will reach 138Ps/5500rpm and the maximum torque will be 230NM/1700-3600rpm. Its 7DCTwet dual clutch transmission is co-developed by Haima and AVL, which could burden the largest input torque of 350NM. It also shows compact structures, small size and light weight in design. Besides, 7DCT could easily upgrade to Hybrid module with the maximum torque of 280NM.

With the released details of Haima Auto’s new power plant strategy, its 1.2T GDI engines, 1.6T GDI engines, Hybrid module and 7DCT also made debut on Shanghai Auto Show. Besides, the Haima S5 equipping with 1.2T GDI was also on display, marking the landing of vehicles in the strategy. Besides, Haima S5 Young, Family Car, new Family 7-seat car will also be included in the strategy afterwards.

It’s learned that Haima Auto will achieve total sales volume of 650,000 units and operating income of RMB 500b till then end of “13th Five-year Plan” period.
