It’s reported that the ZTE Smart Auto manufacturing facility are in construction and will come to production in June next year. By then ,the two famous new energy vehicles maker ZTE smart auto and  Yinlong group will lead the development of the low and zero emission cars in Jinwan ,Zhuhai and Jinwan is expected to become the biggest new energy vehicles manufacturing base this year.

The ZTE Smart Auto reported to build the assembly factory in Jinwan,Zhujiang last July. Located in the south of Jiawan ,the facility with a area of 1200mu is now being constructed. The company plans to deliver 3000 electric buses to its customer. As the new factory completed, the annual capacity of 10,000 new energy cars and 20,000 new energy buses. Its parent company ZTE valued the technological development whose R&D spending amounted to 13 billion yuan last year ,many resources will be put into the company to build the smart cars.

The ZTE smart auto spokesman said the autonomous buses are one of their research priorities and will put effort in developing the smart cars. In addition, the brand also aims to open its overseas market and sell products in European ,middle-east areas and some countries such as Singapore and so on. As the government are becoming more classified about the new energy cars policy, the ZTE’s project is widely supported by the government. The company also expressed its hope to build a smart car industrial clusters in Jinwan area together with the local  governments,universities and other companies there.
