LIVIK Culture to represent Forest River in China's RV market
LIVIK Culture & Arts Production Co of Beijing and Forest River Inc from Elkhart, Indiana have signed an executive partnership agreement designating LIVIK as the sole representative of Forest River in the Chinese market.
LIVIK Culture Chairwoman Xinglu Li, Forest River CEO Peter Liegl, Forest River COO Donnelly and Coachmen RV President Michael R. Terlep attended the signing ceremony at Forest River headquarters on May 15.
The agreement designates Li as the sole representative and chief executive of Forest River. The two sides signed the agreement under the witness of the deputy directors of the China National Tourist Office New York, Li He and Xiaopeng Pan.
As the only RV enterprise under Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc, Forest River is the world's largest RV brand, with more than 100 factories along the West Coast and across the Midwest. By entering the Chinese market, Forest River will promote the development of China's domestic RV industry.
Data show that China's RV market is still underdeveloped compared with that of Europe and the United States. The number of RV camps per million people in China is about 0.57 percent of that in the United States and about 0.86 percent of that in Europe.
Currently, there are 10.87 million RVs in the United States and 7.23 million in Europe. While there are only 70,000 RVs in China, there is enormous market potential.
RV culture has been cultivated in China for a long time. It has shown a vigorous development trend but ample room for improvement.
In March, China's State Council General Office issued guidance to promote the development of tourism across the country. The leadership stressed the need to encourage the integration of tourism and transportation by speeding up the construction of self-driving camping sites and by promoting RV tourism routes.
With the development of tourism across the country, tourism infrastructure and public service facilities will improve. The construction and layout of self-driving camping sites also will be significantly enhanced. The RV culture and industry are expected to gradually rise and flourish in China.
In this era of rapid development, LIVIK Culture is committed to promoting RV camping as a new way of life in China, enriching experiences of RV camping lovers, increasing RV customer satisfaction and allowing more people to be closer to nature and to enjoy time with family and friends on the road.
With its excellent reputation, LIVIK Culture will spread RV camping culture, and thus bring Chinese people more physical and mental pleasure and spiritual ascension.
In the future, both camping culture and the RV industry in China, with continuous efforts of all parties, will move into a rapid development stage. LIVIK Culture can bring in more advanced technology, experience and operations and help Chinese enterprises enter the RV industry.
