Dongfeng Peugeot personnel change:Wu Shaoge promoted as Vice General Manager
Shanghai March 29th, 2017 ZXZC-Official news comes out on March 28th that Wu Shaoge will be appointed as Dongfeng Peugeot’s Vice General Manager. It’s said that the former Brilliance BMW Marketing VP Wu Shaoge has returned to Dongfeng Peugeot in August of last year, named as a director and reporting to CEO directly.
Media information shows that Wu joined auto industry in 2002, appointed as senior manager of Volkswagen Group Chinese Market Department, Brand & PR Director of FAW Volkswagen, Marketing Director of FAW Volkswagen Sales Co. Ltd., Marketing Director of Dongfeng Peugeot, and Vice President of Brilliance BMW successively. After returning to Dongfeng Peugeot, she is mainly in charge of a series of activities including the launching of Dongfeng Peugeot 4008. In the future, she will form a leading team with Brand Department CEO Li Haigang, Marketing Department Director Zhao Dandan to help Dongfeng Peugeot accomplish “Blue Up” brand plan.
Sales performance of Dongfeng Peugeot get improved in the latter half of 2016, after a continuous decline in the first half of year. Finally, it smoothly accomplishes the 350,000 units’ annual target in 2016. It will continue to conduct a series of adjustments in 2017, including personnel changes. Besides, new products with new technologies will also be launched into market.
Currently, Dongfeng Peugeot has launched three SUV models including 2008, 3008 and 4008 models, covering small-size and compact market. In 2017, it will launch three other models, including the first 7-seat SUV 5008 model, which will make debut in Guangzhou on March 30th and will be the highest-level product under Dongfeng Peugeot brand.
