Beijing Hyundai’s Releases its 2017 Plan, with Many New Models being Launched
Shanghai, March 21st, ZXZC - Beijing Hyundai will welcome its 15th anniversary in 2017. According to its target released at the beginning of year, it will sprint for 1.25m units' sales volume this year. It's also revealed that a SUV and middle-and-high-level car will be released on Shanghai Auto Show this year. Besides, it will also launch three new models at the latter half of year.
Beijing Hyundai sets its 2017 brand target, including the launch of a series of new models such as compact car Celesta, a new small-size car and new SUV models. SUV and Turbo-charged vehicles sales will comprise more than 30% of the total respectively. Alternative energy vehicles will sell more than 3,000 units. Performances of IQS, VDS, SSI and CSI keep ranking top three in the industry. It will also keep ranking top 4 brands in Beijing area, with the sales target of 1.25m units in 2017, increasing 10% year-to-year.
Annual version Mistra and new ix35 will be launched in Shanghai Auto Show this year, followed by other two models. Apart from the newly launched Verna and Elantra, it will also launch three other models including Verna, BEV Verna and New Sonata 9.
Beijing Hyundai sells 80,000 units in January, growing 6.4% year-to-year. It keeps growing with wholesales volume exceeding 60,000 units, increasing 12.8% year-to-year. In contrast, Changan Ford, FAW Mazda and other joint-venture brands all meet decreasing sales since the beginning this year. Beijing Hyundai has a total sales volume of 140,093 units from January to February, increasing 9.05% year-to-year. It seems that the “D+S” strategy models have performed well, accounting for 50% of total sales. Another 300 selling shops will be opened this year to achieve a total of 1,000.
