GWM sales increases 30.68%YTY in Feb, H2 grabs wide attention

Shanghai March 7th, 2017 ZXZC-On March 6th, GWM released its production and sales report that it sold 77,496 units in February with a year-to-year growth of 30.68%. The total sales in this year reach 168,729 units, increasing 12.56% with the same period of last year. Haval SUV still keep the lead with a year-to-year growth of 33.72% in February. The total sales volume reaches 66,882 units in February and 148,415 units in the previous two months, increasing 19.51% with the same period of last year.

Superstar model H6 still performs steadily with a sales volume of 33,684 units in February and 79,677 units in the previous two months. GWM also launched New H6 on February 19th, hoping to challenge global SUV brand sales champion in the future.

But H6’s leading position is challenged by H2 this month. H2 sells 25,059 units in February with a year-to-year growth of 127.35%, exceeding 20,000 units for six consecutive months. The total sales volume from January to February reaches nearly 50,000 units, increasing 76.66% with the same period of last year. Helped by the new H2s, H2 family has perfected duplicated H6’s successful operation model.

Other Haval products perform relatively worse compared with H6 and H2. H7 sells 4,106 units, while H1 only sells 1,883 units with a year-to-year decline of 51.47%. Monthly sales volume of H5, H8 and H9 are all below 1,000 units.

Steed pickups perform steadily with a total sales volume of 9,800 units in February, growing 46.77% with the same period of last year. Total sales reach nearly 20,000 units from January to February.

Besides, GWM exported 1,608 units in February with a year-to-year growth of 129.39%. Total exported number reaches 3,455 units in January and February with a growth of 81.84%. In the next year, GWM will focus on overseas market and strengthen its after-sales services. It’s expected that the increasing exported volume will help GWM achieve greater performances.
