ZXZC.com (Shanghai March 2nd, 2017) - Dongfeng Yueda KIA's new mid-scale SUV---KX7 officially launched on March 1, 2017, the new vehicle is manufactured with 5 or 7 seats options, based on the platform of old model Sorento. It is reported that the car will be officially listed on March 17th.

KIA KX7 still uses the front face like the tigers face type and large size mesh grille, so the visual effect is more delicate. 

In terms of the configuration, the car is equipped with blind spot monitoring, Car Play/Car Life intelligent interconnection, air purification, seat heating, panoramic sunroof and other configurations.

In terms of the Power, there are 2.0T, 2.4L and 2.0L three engines available. The transmission part matches the 6-speed automatic gearbox, in addition, some models also be  provided with four-wheel drive system.

Manufacturers show that the selling price is lower than the modern new Shengda, which means the future price is expected to overlap the price of compact SUV models of joint venture brand. Compared to the same level competitors like Angkewei, new Shengda, KIA KX7 is expected to have a good cost performance while compared with lower level competitors such as CR-V X-Trail, KIA KX7 is larger and more practical.

However, Chinese mid-scale SUV that develop rapidly also are the strong competitors for KIA KX7, with the list of GAC Trumpchi GS8, Changan CS95 and other Chinese medium / large scale SUV brands, competition between Chinese brands and joint venture brands has become more and more fierce. To win in the cruel war, KX7 must consider what advantages they have.
