BEIJING - Volvo Automobile Sales (Shanghai) Co Ltd is to recall 6,223 cars over safety concerns, according to China's quality watchdog.

The recall will involve imported XC90 cars manufactured between Aug 27, 2014 and April 24, 2016, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.
