Geely Automobile Holdings aims to sell 1 million vehicles globally this year, up 31 percent from 2016.
The private Chinese carmaker expects to maintain robust growth recorded last year.
In 2016, Geely's deliveries surged 50 percent year on year to 765,851 vehicles on strong demand for four new models.
The four models are three crossovers -- the Boyue, Emgrand GS and Vision crossover, and one compact sedan -- the Emgrand GL.
The four new models helped Geely's sales more than double in December to 108,230 vehicles.
In October, the company unveiled its global Lynk & CO brand in Germany. It plans to launch sales of the first Lynk-badged model, a crossover, in China in late 2017 with sales to follow in 2018 in Europe and then the United States.
Geely, based in the east China city of Hangzhou, is listed in Hong Kong. Its parent, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., owns Volvo Car Corp.
