Next year, GMMC is to focus on domestic vehicles, imported vehicles and self-owned vehicles, aiming to double the sales.

GMMC introduced new ASX and Outlander in 2016. ASX has been a main force of the brand, which helped power of the product promoted sharply after updated. And Outlander also contributed to sales of GMMC.

Sales Continue to Grow

In November, sales of GMMC reached 10018 units, 98.3% increased year over year, which is the first time for GMMC’s monthly sales to break ten thousand this year with Outlander's contribution. Growing rate of Sales of GMMC kept widening in September, October and November. Sales of GMMC in the past 11 months have reached 44740 units, -6.28% increased year-on-year compared with -39.47% at 7 months age. GMMC insisted in the development of SUVs and confirmed “SUV+ new energy” as the core of development. GMMC has had three products after domestic Outlander joined in. From 2017 to 2020, the company will bring out 8 vehicles again, including new energy products like the plug-in electric hybrid version of Outlander. GMMC will import the plug-in electric hybrid version of Outlander next year and consider whether to make it in China. It will also import Pajero Sport made in Thailand.

Revolution of Marketing Mechanism

On December 26th, GMMC Sales Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GMMC, was formally established in Changsha, Hunan province. The new company will optimize the management mechanism, professionalize the sales management and improve the sales efficiency. It will cooperate with “I'm A Singer”(the fifth season) as a sponsor of vehicles and unfold cross-border cooperation in fields like entertainment and sports to spread the brand image and culture to customers.

Speed up the Construction of Channel

Mr. Du Zhijian revealed that, “New products researched and developed independently by GAC is expected to be sold with GMMC's network”. By then, sales network of GMMC will combine domestic vehicles, imported vehicles and GAC's self-owned vehicles and sale them with the same network.

Based on Resources of Renault-Nissan

Previously, Renault-Nissan became a shareholder of Mitsubishi, and Carlos Ghosn served as president of Mitsubishi Motors. As the business core of Mitsubishi, GMMC will also have a new opportunity for development. Based on Mitsubishi, Renault, Nissan and sales of over ten millions, and resources of Renault-Nissan and the GAC Group, GMMC will unlock the high-speed developing mode in the future.
