Drivers at Cyan Racing Lynk & Co team fought hard in the FIA World Touring Car Cup race of Germany that ended on Saturday at the Nuerburgring circuit, sharing the fourth position on the list of drivers.

Yvan Muller and Santiago Urrutia crossed the finishing line of the first race in the second and third position. In the second race Urrutia secured the fifth position and Muller finished seventh.

They shared the fourth position in the drivers' championship, with 29 points in the bag for both, and the second WTCR weekend will take place at the Estoril circuit in Portugal on June 26 and 27.

"I had a difficult time at the Nuerburgring last year, so I am very happy with third and fifth this year - scoring some good points. The team gave me an awesome car this weekend and a big thank you to everyone," said Urrutia.

The Lynk & Co 03 racing cars are built on the same CMA platform as the Chinese brand's volume cars sold in the market, and they both use the Drive-E 2.0-liter turbocharged engines, said the company.

In 2019, Lynk & Co became the first Chinese manufacturer to win a world title in motorsport. A brand by Geely and Volvo, Lynk & Co was unveiled in October 2016.
