Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance delivers 44,090 vehicles in July

Beijing (ZXZC)- Huawei’s smart car alliance, the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), recently announced it delivered 44,090 new vehicles in July 2024, marking the second consecutive month of deliveries exceeding 40,000 vehicles.

For the first seven months of this year, HIMA's cumulative deliveries reached 238,287 vehicles.

Specifically, AITO, the premium new energy SUV brand jointly developed with SERES, delivered 18,047 units of the AITO M9 in July. The AITO M9 has maintained monthly deliveries above 15,000 units for three consecutive months. The AITO M9 hit the market on December 26, 2023, and commenced deliveries in late February 2024. In the past five months, the AITO M9 has achieved cumulative deliveries of over 70,000 units.

The all-new AITO M7 continued its strong performance with 16,562 units delivered in July. Since the beginning of 2024, cumulative deliveries of the AITO M7 have surpassed 120,000 units, making it the primary growth driver for both the AITO brand and HIMA this year.

Moreover, July deliveries of the new AITO M5 stood at 6,926 units in July. Since nationwide deliveries beginning on May 15, the new AITO M5 realized cumulative deliveries of 17,229 units.

In comparison, HIMA's first smart sedan developed in collaboration with Chery, the LUXEED S7, saw a monthly delivery volume of 2,524 units in July. Since its market launch in April, the LUXEED S7 has seen cumulative deliveries of less than 15,000 units.

On August 6, HIMA will introduce a significant new model, the STELATO S9, which is a collaborative fruit between Huawei and BAIC Group. This large all-electric executive sedan is priced between 450,000 yuan and 550,000 yuan in presale.

Additionally, the latest batch of the new car catalogue from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has included the LUXEED R7, the second model jointly developed by Huawei and Chery. This coupe SUV, with an expected starting price of 300,000 yuan, is set to hit the market in September.
